Flashback to 2003…
In doing some computer and file clean up (yes, I have a few firewire drives that have been sitting in the closet that I am cleaning off finally) I came across this photo of me back in 2003. I was getting ready to be flown onto the Carl Vinson Carrier (CVN70) just off the coast of Australia. I was at the time working for a Navy contractor and my job was to go and take a bunch of photos and video as the carrier went from Australia to Hong Kong. Two thoughts occur to me now…
1. That was a pretty cool experience.
2. I’m glad I asked somebody to snap my photo.
So here’s to taking more pictures and the value of documenting life.
